The Spanish Tourist Office in Norway has organized a promotion of all the thirteen World Heritage Sites in Spain, including Ibiza, which will run until 13th June. The display has been set up in front of the Town Hall in the centre of the capital, where thousands of people pass by every day. Spain has traditionally been an attraction for the Norwegian traveller, with 120,000 holidaymakers visiting the Balearic Islands last year.
The exhibition coincides with the new advertising campaign by Turespaña “I need Spain” – in English for all countries – and a video will be run on a giant screen, to heighten the promotional aspect of the display.
The other World Heritage sites involved are Alcalá de Henares, Ávila, Cáceres, Córdoba, Cuenca, Mérida, Salamanca, San Cristóbal de la Laguna, Santiago de Compostela, Segovia, Tarragona and Toledo.
